THE TEAM ATTENDS NATIONAL ESTATE AGENCY CONFERENCE

The 2-move team has just returned from yet another informative and entertaining Relocation Agent Network National Conference.  The day was packed with best practice ideas and top tips, to help us guide our buying and selling customers here in Strood.

Taking place on 13 November at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, we heard from a whole line-up of business experts: Top motivational speaker, Caspar Berry:  Kevin Ellis, founder of new homes consultancy firm, Thomas Mae:  founder of Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, Nick Wheeler:  and economist, Roger Martin-Fagg – one of few who predicted the economic crisis – also gave us an update on the UK economy and residential property market.

The event culminated in a black tie Awards Dinner hosted by well-known comedian, Tim Vine, who presented awards to the night’s winning estate agents.

What does OUR Network membership mean to YOU?

The team at Relocation Agent Network search England, Scotland and Wales for estate agents to represent their Network.  To be exclusively invited to join, we had to be Strood’s leading agent in quality of service, local knowledge and professionalism.

What are the most popular properties and areas to live in?

Are you selling an in-demand property-type?  Are you looking for a home in a sought-after area?  According to a recent Relocation Agent Network survey, the type of property and area that buyers are looking for homes has remained largely unchanged when compared to five years ago.

Popular Properties

Taken amongst Relocation Agent Network members across England, Scotland and Wales (including us), the survey not only found that two to three bedroom houses were the most in demand in 2015, but they were the most sought-after property in 2010 too.

City Centre Vs. Suburbs

The most popular area-types also remained relatively unchanged over the last five years, with town/city centres and suburban areas taking first and second place for 2010 and 2015.  Interestingly however, suburban living was most in demand in 2010, but moved to second place in 2015, with properties in town/city centres taking the top spot.
